All Players and parents must agree to the following Rules and Guidelines prior to Registration for Summer Season 2020.
*We wish to stress that all families and players take ownership and monitor their own health situations and those of people with whom they are in contact and not attend practice if there is any doubt of illness or coming in contact with anyone who is ill. Be honest if you or a family member is sick, and stay home.*
Each player must wash hands / hand sanitize upon arrival.
No bathroom use except hand washing / emergencies.
Only players will be allowed inside the Pod. If it’s necessary for other visitors (family) to enter, they must wear a mask.
Doors will open 5 minutes prior to the start of practice. If you arrive early, please wait until coach signals you can enter. We are doing our best to ensure the space is clean and safe for you. Practice will finish on time and players will be expected to wait outside for rides and be picked up within 5 minutes.
Bring everything you need. No borrowing equipment from LIFT or other players.
Come ready to practice - only change shoes if inclement weather.
Mouthguards must be contained on your person at all times. Please wash them before every practice.
Bring enough water for your entire practice. There will be no use of bubblers and no refilling water bottles.
Goalies: You will be responsible for your own equipment, whether borrowed from us or you have your own. Please bring it home at the end of each practice to clean.
To the best of our abilities, we will be planning practices around social distancing guidelines. We ask that parents talk with their players prior to practice about being mindful of all players’ personal space while at practices. Practice planning will not involve 1v1 or scrimmage-style play until the middle of July at the earliest. Players will focus on individual skills, passing, shooting, game concepts, and fitness until then. We will have plenty to do!
As we’re all adjusting to our new season in a way that will both benefit us and keep us all safe in the sport we all love, it’s imperative that players and parents respect these new rules. Any violation will result first in a phone conversation with player and parent and then, if behavior does not improve, will result in immediate removal from our summer season without any fee refund.
Coaches have the right at any time to make adjustments and decisions to best benefit the group as a whole based on local and federal guidelines, new information, and how we believe we are progressing.
Thank you all for your support and understanding.
