Pop Up Clinic run by California Field Hockey Camp and Coach Shellie Onstead

Coach Shellie will lead focused clinics to help you improve your game.
All clinics are open to all field hockey players (players do not need to be currently enrolled in a club program).
All players must register online prior to clinic date. Walk In participants will not be accepted.

Saturday, February 1st 3:00pm - 6:00pm @ The Pod: All Field Players
Sunday, February 2nd 9:00am - 12:00pm @ The Pod: All Goalkeepers

COACH SHELLIE ONSTEAD
Shellie Onstead, Head Coach, U.C. Berkeley. A former U.S.A. National Field Hockey Team player, Onstead has coached at Cal since 1983 and has been the head coach since 1995. A five time Nor Pac Conference Coach of the Year, Onstead has guided the Bears to a consistent Top 20 Ranking and 7 NCAA appearances.
In addition to her position at Cal, Onstead has held numerous coaching positions at the National and International level. Since 1996, Onstead has served as the USA Junior National Team coach on numerous occasions, for both the men and women. In 2009, Onstead led the women’s U17 National team to qualify for the Youth Pan Am Championship in Uruguay in 2010. At the championship, the team took Bronze. Later, Onstead served as assistant coach for the U21 team that qualified for the Junior World Cup in 2012. She was also assistant coach for the US Women’s National team which competed at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. In 1999, she was honored as U.S.A. Field Hockey National Coach of the Year.
Onstead currently works within the local USA Futures and High Performance programs to satisfy her desire to develop talent in the West Region to reach the national level.
